About this pro

Greetings! After a rewarding career as a teacher and guidance counselor, I retired early to pursue my passion for yoga. My LLC was launched in 2017. The Zen Zone taylors yoga classes to meet your individual needs. I welcome small groups of students in my home studio in Livonia, Michigan. Only vaccintated students, please. :)

My favorite aspect of teaching is seeing students become aware of the importance of confidence and self-care. It's incredibly rewarding!

Andrea is compassionate about her work and the people who attend her classes! I am an Activities Director at a senior community and it is so great to offer Chair Yoga as an option for exercise program! My residents enjoy the class as well as Andrea! She is patient, knowledgeable and an overall FANTASTIC instructor!

The one-on-one attention Andrea provides. She truly understands her clients, shares all of her knowledge and helps you become your best self.

Andrea knows so much about yoga. She is very patient, and pushes you, but not to the point of feeling uncomfortable. She accepts your limitations and works with them. I always come out of her class refreshed and more "zen".

Over the past decade, I have been an off and on student of yoga. I’ve never found the right fit with an instructor to keep me interested or invested in the gifts yoga can provide—until Andrea. She is the perfect balance of patient teacher and empathetic guide. There is zero ego under her instruction and yet a calm and motivational spirit that encourages you to explore and learn. If you have been hesitant to try yoga for the first time, consider practicing with Andrea.
