About
Experience the benefits of personal yoga sessions. My style of Hatha yoga + slow flows allows us to build your poses from the ground up, creating stability and ease in your practice.
Beginner yogi? Let me personally guide you in learning basic asana & meditation. The practice will be customized for your strengths, weaknesses, and anatomy and will include variations & props as necessary. Develop the confidence you need for a home practice or to attend studio classes.
Experienced practitioner? Let's work deeper. Expand your asana foundations, get hands-on assists to grow your practice, or learn new pranayama & meditation techniques. I use alignment-based cues & customized sequencing to guide you in your unique yoga journey.
Not so sure about one-on-one sessions? Sign-up for one of my small group workshops or pop-up classes to learn from other students while still getting personal attention & instruction.

How did you get started teaching?
As a yoga practitioner for over 10 years, I decided to pursue teaching & personalized training to bring the confidence, strength, & mindfulness of yoga asana to others.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with adults of all ages -- from relatively experienced yoga practitioners to those just coming to a mat for the first time. Some are looking for physical benefits: building strength & flexibility, losing weight, improving balance. Others are looking for mental shifts: increase mindfulness, stress-relief, improved focus. Yoga delivers something for everyone -- often above and beyond what you expect!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently assisted with a Karma Yoga (donation-based) class to help raise money for Family Means, a non-profit assisting youth & families based in Stillwater. Not only did we support a great cause, but I got to co-teach with several of my favorite teachers. The energy at Karma Yoga classes is always so refreshing & nourishing.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find your match! Every yoga teacher has their own personal style, and finding one that is a great, authentic fit for you will help you get so much more out of the experience & relationship.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Why am I drawn to yoga? How often will I be seeking guidance? What are key attributes of favorite teachers in my past?
