I am a certified hatha yoga teacher, with an additional 150 hours in Finney yoga, which is yoga therapy. I've been teaching yoga since 2000. I'm also a licensed massage therapist and so this lens itself to more information about the anatomy of yoga. My classes are Presented for all levels. Variations on the poses are offered according to the students level of familiarity with yoga. The practices are well-rounded including emphasis on breath, postural alignment, and enjoyment.
I work with able bodied persons in classes and in private sessions and with elderly yoga students doing seated yoga. My own practice has enriched my life so much that I enjoy sharing my experiences and blessings that I have received down to the use for my yoga practice. I enjoy laughing and playing with my students during class, but when it comes to teaching yoga well, I am very serious. A teacher of mine said it best, the purpose of yoga is to make you happy!
