Namaste! My name is Margie Sanders. I have been in love with yoga for many years. My own daily yoga practice is very special to me and continues to grow. I love to teach group classes, private in home sessions and the occasional workshop. My style is a mix of traditional Hatha yoga and Vinyasa flow with a meditative and mindful sivasana (final relaxation) at the end. My classes are written in advance and change for each session we are together. You can expect a challenging, fun, feel good session every time!
I love that I get to help people find peace, confidence and joy within their own bodies.
Margie is knowledgeable, approachable, and kind. Her yoga practice is exactly what I imagine yoga should be. She is challenging for all levels; always offering modifications. She has a vast knowledge of how the body works and how to use yoga to benefit and connect the mind, body and soul. Margie’s passion for practicing and teaching yoga is evident both in and out of the studio. Her positive energy is contagious and very inspiring. She is truly the best:)
Margie is an amazing teacher. She is friendly, warm, and welcoming. I appreciate how she paces the class, it's not too slow, and not too fast. No class is exactly the same as the last. I always come out of the class feeling relaxed, renewed, and ready to tackle the day!
Margie is a breath of fresh air. She is a solid instructor with both a traditional and contemporary style. Her practices are challenging and engaging. I also enjoy her music, it elevates my experience from enjoyable to fun!!!! I always leave her class feeling great.
I love Margie’s classes! They are always different and her teaching style is relatable whether you are an experienced yogi, or a newbie! I highly recommend her to anyone interested in trying out yoga.
I am certified to instruct private and public yoga classes through yogafit, an internationally recognized organization. I also have special certifications in meditation and mindfulness, yoga for kids, yoga for seniors, paddleboard yoga, yoga for emotional and physical trauma survivors, prenatal yoga, pranayama (breathing exercises) and Ayurveda life balancing skills.
The price for a private session runs between $35 and $65 or $40 to $85 for group sessions.
I began practicing yoga after the birth of my first child in 2010. I loved how it made me feel. After years of insomnia I was finally sleeping again. I also began gaining strength and flexibility I didn't think was possible for my body. Over the next five years my practice developed gradually gaining in frequency and duration until I was practicing five days a week or more. After seeing the countless benefits in my life I decided to complete a yoga teacher certification program to begin sharing all that I had learned over the years.
My current schedule includes pre-school yoga, adult yoga and private lessons.
