Yoga And Minfulness Classes
About
I was so far out of touch with who I was, I wanted to find myself again. Yoga did that for me. I teach so I can help others on their journey of self-realization and spiritual healing. My goal as a power yoga teacher is to create an energy and space to clear your mind, take inventory of what you're holding in your body, and take notice of you; gaining insight, self-love, comfort, and clarity.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
In first working with a student, i like to find out what the student is looking to achieve with practicing yoga. I also find out if the student has any injuries I should know about. I find it important to meet every student where they're at, no matter body type or physique. I explain a little about myself and how i can help you take what you learn on your yoga mat outside into the real world, your day to day life.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified in power yoga and have experience teaching group classes as well as private sessions. I also have over 6 years experience doing individual and family counseling with a Bachelor's in Psychology.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I have different prices depending on location. Please contact me for more information
How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching yoga by becoming a yoga student myself at a local studio. I fell in love with the practice and how it made me feel. I suffered from depression and anxiety for years until I found yoga. I already had a passion for teaching and helping others on their life journey. As a child, I was a tutor and truly enjoyed holding weekly phone calls with my friends and giving them advice, and as a teenager I coached a cheerleading team for four years. After graduating college I began working in social services helping families in crisis and realized i was dealing with people who i could identify bits and pieces of myself with. I quickly learned that I wouldn't be able to help everyone due to many different factors. After seeing what yoga did for me and how it's helped me i knew this was something i wanted to share with others. I knew it was perfect for me because i could really help people learn about themselves on their own accord and at their own pace.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have had the pleasure to work with every kind of person. My yoga students range from young to old, able bodied to low mobility, one even wears a prothestic leg!
