About

I am a 200-hour certified and insured yoga instructor. I am also registered with the Yoga Alliance. I specialize in teaching Vinyasa, Power Fusion, Gentle, and Chair yoga, both heated and unheated. I've worked with students who were referred to yoga by physical therapists to help with an injury, as well as people wanting to lose weight. My passion is helping people feel confident about their form in basic poses so they can incorporate yoga into their lifestyle without fear!

I offer private and semi - private lessons, group classes, yoga parties, and corporate yoga options in your home, gym, or workplace. I teach at Team 85 Fitness and Wellness in Bordentown, NJ, Core Power Yoga in Cherry Hill, NJ, and community classes in Burlington City, NJ. I look forward to working with you!

I love empowering others to feel great! When I can nurture a love for yoga in another human being, it fills my heart with joy!

Angelique understood my needs as I recently had back surgery and wanted to be careful not to worsen the situation. She gave me some great tips to help me from tipping over! I am a type A personality so She designed a schedule and a routine that gets to the point. While I sure do need to relax, that was not the goal and she got me. And my dog loves her!

    Frequently asked questions

When you contact me, we discuss your experience and goals. Then I customize a class for you. I bring the music and props. With your permission, I can offer hands on adjustments during your lesson and essential oils. I can come to your house or gym, or you can rent space in a local studio near me for $15/hour extra.

I continuously take online and live workshops and trainings to stay current with best practices and to learn new skills. I entered a 300-hour program this year that will give me over 500 hours of yoga training. I also own and operate a Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga School.

Pricing depends on the number of people, length of the lesson, and your distance from me. A standard 60 minute one-on-one lesson within 20 miles of Burlington City is $100. I do offer discounts with packages.

For the student with less time or a smaller budget, I also offer online lessons. You still get that one-on-one time with me, but we have it through an online video conferencing website. Prices are $1/ minute with discounts offered for multiple lessons. All details can be found on my website: www.wholeimagewellness.com

I purchased a Groupon to try Hot Yoga in 2013 and I fell in love. I began working at the studio, practicing 3-5 times/week, and attending workshops and retreats. I loved the practice, the community, and the way yoga changed my life. I went through teacher training in the fall of 2015 and decided to pursue yoga as part of a full time business in January of 2017.

I've worked with children, teenagers, football players, special populations, pregnant women, seniors, and people of all ages. I look forward to working with you!

A student in my gentle yoga class told me that though she was new to yoga, yoga was changing her life. She said bending down to pick up a pen was easier because of yoga. In the same class, another student shared that for the first time in 20 years, she could give herself a pedicure because of yoga. Before yoga, her back pain was so severe, she could not bend over at all. Students report feeling taller, lighter, and less stressed because of yoga.

Be specific with your goals and objectives. Let your teacher know of any injuries or concerns. Be wary of teachers who offer medical advice, unless they're a doctor. Ask for proof of insurance, for your protection and theirs.

What are my long term and short term goals? Do I have pain in my low back when I bend over? Do I have a current or old injury? Do I lose my balance easily or experience lightheadedness? Do I want to get stronger or more flexible, or both? Am I hoping to strengthen a particular area of my body (core, legs, shoulders)? Do I have a hard time relaxing? Am I willing to try new things?

And logistically: Do I have a hard floor to practice on? Do I have pets? Do I need a mat or props? Do I have an uninterrupted hour to devote to my lesson?
