About

This is not a fitness class. This class is not meant to give you a good sweat although it will, this class is designed to turn you into a boxer. If you are looking to lose weight dont worry, that'll be covered but get ready to learn the sweet science. This is pure, fundamental boxing.

The class will cover; footwork, head movement, angles, mutlitple styles of defense, counter punching, hand and foot speed, and swift, powerful proper punching.

I'll get you to the point where you WILL be confident walking down a scary alley or protecting your significant other and or family. Hope to meet you!

I absolutely love taking a client from not even knowing how to hold up their hands to being extremely confident in their boxing abilities. I love seeing the transformation. That is the real payment, the money is just to make you really give it your all.

Young is an excellent trainer! He knows how how to transfer what he has learned to others. There is a structure in his training where the first thing one needs to know, which is form, IS taught FIRST and the other techniques are built upon that first one and added one by one. He shows you by example how to successfully perform the technique that he is teaching you and instructs in a way that you could not possibly misunderstand. He encourages you to PUSH YOURSELF to learn what you have been taught and works with you to help you put everything youve learned into practice with drills so that you can successfully use all these things (form, footwork, rhythm, blocking, ducking, punching, etc.) together like a well-oiled machine . Young taught me some basic boxing techniques in a short period of time and I thoroughly enjoyed letting him train me. I have even applied some of the principles of these techniques in other areas of my life, such as my job at work.

What I liked most about training with AL is that he never took it easy on me. He pushed me to train harder and better. As a novice to boxing I sometimes didnt feel like going, but that never stopped him from getting on me to put on the gloves. At the end of each lesson, no matter how I felt in the beginning, I always left exhausted but happy I went. I unfortunately didnt get to train with him for very long because I moved but the few months I had with him were great and I learned a lot. You can instantly tell he knows what hes talking about when you start to train and that he has a passion for the sport. I promise you wont be disappointed. If it werent for having to move away Id still be training with him.

7 years boxing training. 5 years of that training others. Massive sparring experience. Teacher at heart  love to teach the game.

50 an hour. If the training goes longer than the allotted time, no extra charge.

It started in college. I used to shaddow box and train myself for fitness reasons in the college gym then all of a sudden fellow students started asking me to train them. I enjoyed their progression so much I started a class.

All types.
