The first thing I do is evaluate your base fitness level, from there we will decide how to proceed. I have had people come to me and they were sparring 12 rounds in as little as a week. I also get clients who could barely do a sit up and developed the same level of fitness within 5 months, so it all depends on the individual in question.
I am a USA Boxing certified trainer. I was under the tutalage of a professional fighter for two and a half years. I have coached 16 bouts in three years. None of my athletes have been knocked out, cut or pummeled to the point that they had to quit. My trainer encouraged me to research sports science which allowed me to incorporate innovative methods that make pugilism accessible to a wider range of individuals.
