I was blessed to be trained to be a yoga instructor in Rishikesh, India—the world capital of yoga. My Indian teachers really instilled the importance of proper alignment and meditation and I have been inspired since my travels to bring traditional yoga back into the Western world. I enjoy all asana practices but I am specifically drawn to teaching Yin and Hatha.
I was first introduced to yoga in Buddhism class in 2010. When I was struggling with depression and anxiety throughout college, yoga truly saved my life. Since then, I have been trying to integrate yoga into every part of my life. It is so important to me to share the joy of yoga with the world. I'm honored to be on this path of service.
