I love to teachmy clients how to heal themselves through holistic therapies. This give them a sense of control and power over their wellbeing. Many clients were considering surgery and on high dose pain medications before trying our services. Most feel better within a few visits without going under the knife.
Sessions are one on one weekly and I tailor all of them to your specific needs on that day. I also teach you self help techniques to use at home.

How did you get started teaching?
I studied at Yoga Medics In Detroit which is a medical based program for pain, trauma, anxiety, depression, and therapeutic yoga.
In 2004, I had debilitating pain in my neck and shoulders from 4 heriated discs. I even lost the use of my arms at times. After a year of various treatments and medication, they wanted to send me to surgery and I refused.I spent the next month calming down my centtral nervous system with mediation and visualization, and what ever light yoga I could do...in 6 weeks I was healed and pain free. I knew if I can do this for myself, everyone can. Now I just add other holistic therapies in the mix with clients to teach them how to heal.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with clients of all ages (from 10 yrs old to late 70's) and capabilities. Some just want to learn yoga in a private setting and others are there for pain/stress relief and increased flexability.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure they are certified in therapuetic yoga and can teach you the correct way to get in a pose for your body. Also make sure they were trained in a medical program if you are seeking yoga therapy for pain and disfunction.
