Prenatal Yoga With Hope
About
Prenatal yoga is one of the most incredible things you can do for yourself and your baby. Grow connection to your pregnancy, get rid of pain and discomfort, strengthen and prepare your body for childbirth. In most cases a faithful and empowering yoga routine will reduce recovery time after labor and keep you feeling great before and after. I am a 200hr RYT practitioner certified through Yoga Alliance. I also have certificates in beginning and advanced prenatal yoga. I teach at local studios including Speakeasy Yoga in downtown Dayton.
I love teaching prenatal yoga and encouraging every new mom to find the strongest version of themselves. My class will offer a powerful practice that will help you find your best breath and link it to each movement. Cultivating a strong breath can help you push through mental blocks and physically accomplish things you didn’t know you were capable of. Yoga is for every mom and my hope is that you will leave my class feeling out of pain and discomfort, refreshed, and a little more prepared to take on your next big adventure.

How did you get started teaching?
I have been practicing vinyassa style yoga for several years. I began as physical therapy after a car accident. I was so amazed with how much stronger, flexible, and happy yoga made me and I just had to learn everything I can. This led me to getting my 200hr RYT. It was during that training that I learned about the incredible benefits of prenatal yoga. I truly believe that it will revolutionize your pregnancy and delivery!
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with a wide range of students at different physical levels.
Currently, I work with new mothers in various trimesters of their pregnancies. I also work with athletes and seniors.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently, two of my closest friends found out they are pregnant in the same week. I am so grateful to be able to help them throughout their pregnancies and teach them everything I know!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure your prenatal instructor has been sufficiently trained. And even more importantly - find someone you feel comfortable opening up to!
