About
I have been playing both guitar and viola for 22 years and strive to empower my students to not only reach their full potential as a musician, but to find their own voice in music.
Throughout my performance career, I played with the Greater Princeton Youth Orchestra and University of Delaware Symphony Orchestra and have played in several professional rock bands writing, performing, and touring. With a Minor in Music, I also have a thorough understanding of music theory.
My lessons are typically an hour long weekly. I create a custom curriculum for each student that fits their abilities and goals. I look forward to helping make you the best musician you can be!
The best part of teaching is seeing your student become addicted to learning, especially once they hit their first milestone. That feeling of knowing that you are helping someone acheive their goals is priceless.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My first lesson with a student is free. I treat it as a consultation. I use the time to learn what the student's goals are, where their current abilities lie, and if I'll be the right fit to help them reach those goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Minor in Music from the University of Delaware. I have been playing both guitar and viola for 22 years and have performed in various symphony orchestras, wedding quartets, pit orchestras, and rock and roll bands. I have been teaching professionally for a year and a half.
