My focus is working with young students, but I’ve taught people of all ages. I’ve worked at schools, programs, and on my own teaching music and acting lessons and classes in DFW for the past 5 years. When I’m not teaching, I work freelance making theatre as an actor, director, composer, and sound designer.
I love meeting my students where they’re at and discovering the needs of each individual. I think one of my strongest skills is adapting to different personalities and assessing how I can be most helpful to a student based on their unique strengths and challenges.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I like to find out what the student is interested in and what their personal goals are, i.e. what made them want to start taking lessons? Then the student and I create a lesson plan together to help them accomplish those goals.
