HI! Welcome, my name is Amie. I has been physically active in competitive sports for most of my life. I have a passion for fitness and helping others find growth in their well-being. When I stumbled upon yoga in 2007, I quickly noticed its benefits both physically and mentally.
Convinced that yoga could improve a person's overall health,(and becaused I believed it to be so much fun!) I completed her 200-hour level Yoga Teacher Certification in 2012. I expected teaching yoga to be a hobby but God had other plans.
In 2013 I began working as a Mind-Body Intervention Specialist in the Integrative Medicine Program at the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center.
Here I assisted in research studies which involve mind/body movement and health intervention and taught a variety of yoga classes to care givers and patients.
My passion for improving the health and well-being of others has lead here to a SUP Yoga and a Kid's Yoga certification in 2014, Yin Yoga certification in 2016 and the completion of the NASM Personal Training Certification in the summer of 2016. I completed level one Balanced Body Reformer Pilates certification in and the Holy Yoga Certification, which focuses on Christ centered Yoga and Mediation.
Im light hearted, compassionate, and try not to take life too seriously. I would love to met you and help you on a journey of feeling better mind, body, and Holy Spirit!
