About
As a certified yoga instructor and Chemical Dependency Counseling Intern, I provide individual Yoga Instruction in the comfort of your home, office, or at a rented space at local yoga studios. I assess client’s physical, emotional, and spiritual goals. My intention is to assist clients in understanding the life-long benefits of yoga, where I guide clients through wellness assessments, suggest nutritional alternatives, and provide guided instruction to address physical limitations, well-being, addictive behaviors, and common mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.
I love being able to share the holistic benefits of yoga and wellness! Yoga is for everyone! Being able to see clients find comfort, push past personal barriers, and find an inner peace through yoga is truly a gift that enriches the life my clients and my life as well!

How did you get started teaching?
Years ago I experienced the benefits of yoga. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and knew that I wanted more people to share the benefits of yoga. I was encouraged by my yoga instructor, my family, and my peers to pursue what brings me purpose and joy. Yoga definitely does!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have the privilege of working with a diverse demographic. I have worked with individuals and couples. I have also provided group classes in local yoga studios, and I have worked with individuals who have specific physical injuries that need tailored yoga instruction. In addition, I provide weekly yoga instruction to women who are in recovery and often have emotional and mental health concerns, trauma, guilt, and addiction. Implementing yoga into the recovery process is empirically backed and compliments my Chemical Dependency Counseling Intern licensure. I also, teach to the younger generation in elemantry, middle and high school, with a trauma informed approach through the Dynamic Mindfulness program offered by Niroga Institute.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One of the most incredible experiences I have had recently, was the opportunity to provide guided yoga instruction at the Buddhist Temple here in Houston. The orchid gardens, flowers, peer participation, the gentle silence, and peaceful, encouraging presence of the master truly provided a moment that will forever remain special in my life. It was exciting to instruct so many of my friends and share in their quest for a peaceful life well lived!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I think that students should ask their yoga instructor to explain their philosophy about yoga and how they implement yoga into their own personal lives. Ask the instructor what types of yoga are they most comfortable teaching. In addition, the student should ask if the yoga instructor is trained in addressing issues that may be of concern.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I always ask clients to visualize how they see their life at their happiest, healthiest, and most peaceful and then I ask that they share this vision with me. This vision, in our perfect world, can transpire with dedication and willingness.
