About
I give my best to the student's guitar lessons. I like for the student to have a fun and exciting experience during the lesson.
My motivation is for the student to succeed. I want the student to know that anything is possible with faith. The Guitar is a fun instrument but it is also a very challenging one as well. It is pleasing to my spirit to witness the growth and achievements from the student.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first step is an interview with the student to find out what music goals the student might have. This will also present to me the current level of the student's guitar playing. Once the assessment is complete then I can put together a plan to fit the student's lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing classical guitar for over 20 years and I have an associates degree in music from Midland College. I have attended guitar festivals and have participated in master classes with renown teachers and performers.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
In 2018 I was invited to teach a master class on guitar technique at the West Texas Guitar Festival.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Ask whatever questions you might have about learning the guitar. Look for a teacher that will prepare and guide you through the early stages of guitar playing. Most importantly look for a teacher that has plenty of patience. Learning to play guitar is a lifelong journey and the very early stages are crucial to the proper development of a solid technique. Remember slow and steady wins the race!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
