About this pro

My passion for yoga began in college. It impacted my life so much that I received my RYT 200 hour certification in January of 2014 and have loved teaching yoga for the past six years. I believe yoga is a gift that can heal the mind, body and spirit in many ways.  Yoga has changed my life throughout the years, bringing balance, authenticity, and a deeper connection to my spirit.  I am excited to share the benefits of yoga with you, so that you may experience its transformative qualities as I have and continue to do every day. I can teach all levels of yoga - from beginner to experienced - in a group/class or private client setting. Please reach out to discuss the best yoga plan for you!

Sharing yoga with others has become my passion. I enjoy helping others find a sense of calm and balance through the connection of asanas or poses, movement and breath work. I especially love working one-on-one with private clients to help develop a customized practice of yoga and mediation that can be implemented as often as needed.

Angie did a phenomenal job of introducing Yoga to me. She was a fantastic instructor who took the extra time to ensure all the participants could do all of the positions before moving onto something new. You will not be disappointed after a session with her.

  • Mindy Adams

I joined Angie on the mat for the first time six weeks postpartum looking for a way to slowly restore my body and mentally control my thoughts and exhaustion! Angie is extremely thoughtful, supportive, and accommodating and helped me develop a true appreciation for yoga.

Angie was very patient and willing to adapt the yoga pose to fit the person! I highly recommend her!!

In 2013 I completed 200 hours of yoga teacher training and received my RYT certification. I have been teaching classes and private clients over the past six years.

How did you get started teaching?

My journey with yoga began in college. I took a yoga class for credit and fell in love with it instantly. I continued to take yoga classes at YogaYoga in Austin and it began to help me transform my life. After having my first child and moving to Ohio, I knew that I wanted to continue my journey with yoga and signed up for a yoga certification class in Greenville, Ohio. The yoga teacher training experience was amazing and I grew so much as an individual. Our family moved back to Texas and settled in San Antonio. I have loved teaching yoga over the past six years and am excited to share my passion with others in the San Antonio community.
