Yoga Instructor

5.0 1 Review
Yoga is something that has changed my life. The amazing thing about yoga is that it has something different to offer everyone, and if you give it the time it will shine rainbows over every storm. My philosophy is that yoga is whatever you want it to be for you. If you want it to be a workout, it will be a workout. If you want it to be a lifestyle; a new way of seeing yourself and the world, that is what it will be for you. The potential of what yoga is and what it can do is endless because our potential is endless.  Yoga is much more than what happens on your mat, maybe only %10 of yoga actually happens on the mat and that can be intimid ... Mindful And Embodied

Mindful And Embodied

My name is Nats Buchi, E-RYT 500. (Experience Registered Yoga Teacher at the highlest level). I actualy surpassed that cause I'm always wanting to learn more.  Yoga saved my life and cotinues to do so. It's not just the physical "side effects", which are wonderful but there is so much to the practice. I have studied with some amazing senior teachers who are not available to us know.  I am a student, practitioner and teacher.  I would consider my styles of teaching to be very intuitife.  People learn a alot about themselves and my experience of 14 years has taught me so much about the body. The last I checked my logged numb ... View Profile

Frequently asked questions

How much do yoga classes cost?

The average cost of single group sessions at yoga studios across the country is $15 to $20. For private yoga training, you will likely spend between $30 and $70 on each lesson. Yoga classes mostly take place in a group setting, and the price per class depends on the location, yoga teacher’s knowledge and experience, and years of teaching.

How long is a yoga class?

On average, a yoga class is 75 to 90 minutes long. Many instructors say 90 minutes is simply how long it takes to pace through all the sacred yoga asanas, but a new shorter 60 minute class is quickly becoming popular with students.

What to wear to yoga class?

Most women prefer to wear tank tops or a sports bra that's made of a cotton and lycra (spandex) blend when they do yoga. Loose tee shirts and underwire bras are usually a no-no because they have a tendency to get in the way of movement.

For the bottoms, most women prefer to wear tights. These comfortable and stretchable pants will provide you with a full range of movement and allow your instructor to check your alignment. For slower-paced classes, you may be able to pull off wearing long skirts or stretchable harlem pants.

What to bring to yoga class?

Although many necessities are usually provided for you, there are a few things you may still want to bring yourself.

Here's what to bring to yoga class:

  1. Comfortable yoga attire
  2. Water bottle
  3. Hand towel
  4. Yoga mat
  5. Change of clothes
  6. Post-yoga snack

How often should you do yoga?

For those who are already quite active, doing yoga at least once or twice per week is recommended. For experienced practitioners, doing yoga every day is not uncommon. However, if you begin to be sore, consider taking a day or two off. Even if you only do you for one hour a week, you will experience the benefits of the practice.

How long does it take to get good at yoga?

There are many beginner yoga poses and sequences that you can get good at in your first yoga class. On a more spiritual level, it may take a lifetime to find the union between mind, body and spirit. You should expect to practice regularly for about six months before you feel confident that you can perform fundamental poses steadily and with some degree of proper form.
