About
I love teaching yoga and have been a registered yoga teacher since 2014. I am currently working on my International Association of Yoga Therapist Certification through Inbody Yoga Academy. My goal is to make yoga assessable and safe to all who are interested. Yoga is about the mind, body and heart. It is amazing what yoga can do for each of us when we incorporate the breath, body alignment and mindfulness. Yoga is a powerful tool to finding balance in ones life.
I also offer multi instrument sound therapy that can be combined with a yoga session.
Contact me if you want private sessions. I offer private’s at $45 per hour. If you are looking for group classes please visit my website for my schedule.

How did you get started teaching?
I began practicing yoga and found much relief with my depression and chronic pain. I felt strongly that I wanted to share and help others through yoga, mindfulness, meditation and sound vibration. There is so much possiblity if we but look and practice.
What types of students have you worked with?
I enjoy working with those that feel that yoga is not assessible to them. With modification and mindfulness yoga is for everyone.
I often work with seniors and those with limitations.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
After working with a wonderful lady in her 80's. She exclaimed how easier it is for her to get around. She had found more mobility and balance with a simple chair yoga practice.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Talk with the teacher and see if you will work well with each other. Can he/she guide you and support you on your journey. Know that there are many styles of yoga. I feel picking a teacher that is well rounded and trained such as a yoga therapist give more possiblities. They have many more tools in the toolbox to help their clients.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What is their physical state? Injuries? Limitations? Energy Levels?
What is their mental state? Depression? Anxiety?
What are their goals? Strength? Mobility? Balance? Both psyically and emotionally.
Are they willing to put the practice in?
