About
I am 200 hour certified through Yoga Assets and Nationwide Yoga Alliance. I teach at two local studios, at many Vasa gym locations and at a Yoga Corporate job for Dell / EMC. I have 30 classes scheduled just for this month alone so I teach quite a bit. I like to cater my yoga classes to those that I’m guiding through that practice. Sometimes that means slowing things down or creating more powerful poses. Whatever you would like to work on I will cater to.
The biggest rewards of teaching, for me, is meeting new kind, beautiful people who I can serve, who then become my friends! I love what yoga does for me (sleeping better, toning muscle, aiding with digestion and organs, not to mension all of the mind work! Etc.) and helping others to feel that transformation in their own bodies! I love helping others with proper alignment (doing a body analysis/ Practicum) and helping them work on their breath work with different breathing techniques. I love to share all the knowledge I have learned and gained to better others lives on and off the mat. I pretty much love it all!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
If needed, I fill out a practicum which tells me what areas of the body could use certain poses etc. Then with each lesson we will work on those areas of the body while strengthen, toning and helping with flexibility in the rest. Special requests are always welcome.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
200 hour Yoga Assets and Yoga Alliance Certified.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
It’s typically $40 depending on extra travel time it could be more.
How did you get started teaching?
For years I felt like my body needed Yoga. Then when I finally started to practice it I fell in love then once again it came up for me to become a certified instructor. It seemed that the stars ⭐️ aligned perfectly for having the money to train, where to attend school and everything else seemed to fall into place. This is my happy place!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find an instructor that YOU personally connect with!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Remember that yoga instructors are not doctors and your body is unique and different than any other body, so don’t ask for medical advice and listen to your body! It will talk to you, if you listen. I studied 40 hours of Anatomy in my training so there are certain cues I hear instructors say that is Not a one size fits all and could hurt people if they don’t listen to their own body. Our bone structures are all different. Don’t compare yourself to someone else.
