About

I received my initial 200 hour yoga teacher training in Salt Lake City in 2019. My 300 hour teacher training was later that same year in Rishikesh India where I spent a month in immersion training. It was in India that I trained in various meditation and breathwork techniques. Through these practices I have found a foundation for well-being and I am excited to share with all who are interested. This has become my main focus in teaching as well as in my daily practice.

I welcome students who are new to yoga, meditation and breathwork. I believe you will find my approach comfortable and relevant in your day to day life. Strength and mobility, calming the overactive mind and a general sense of well being are among the many benefits my clients have seen. With regular practice you will find gradual shifts in the body, mind, and soul.

When first meeting Sarah I immediately felt comfortable and knew that I’d have an exceptional yoga experience. I quickly found her to have a high level of knowledge due to her detailed instructions. Her passion for yoga helped me to have a truly spiritual session. So happy I found someone like her to learn from. Can’t wait to continue my yoga journey with her.

Sarah introduced me to a style of yoga I didn’t even know existed. I’ve never allowed myself to be able to connect and be present in yoga. It’s always been how much longer thoughts running through my mind. Not with Sarah’s classes, I look forward to each class. Sarah makes you feel safe and secure. The teachings you will learn from her will be life-changing. You will learn breathing techniques you can take with you when it seems life is throwing a curveball. Her classes will keep you coming back for more. Allow yourself to transform with this fantastic teacher. You won’t be sorry!

I have been working with Sarah for a few months now in this very specialized area of eastern yoga and meditation. She is amazing and has changed my perspective in a very positive and balanced life. Sarah has so much knowledge as well as empathy and works with me personally to create every session focused on what my needs are. I would highly recommend this wonderful experience and definitely having someone like Sarah to guide you.

Sarah has the knowledge, skills and applicable experience to build the yoga and meditation programs that I need. She adapts them to fit my particular needs even though they may change from practice to practice.

    Frequently asked questions

Before meeting I conduct a brief telephone interview to get a general idea of what the student wants out of the sessions. On our first meeting we begin with a basic meditation that they can practice daily until our next meeting.

I did my initial 200 hour yoga teacher training in Utah. I then received my 300 hour yoga & meditation teacher training in Rishikesh India. In 2021 I did a master teacher training with my teacher in India. This was to deepen my own practice as well as expand what I am able to offer my students.

My base price for a private in person class is $75. However, I would like to bring yoga and meditation to all those who truly desire it in their lives. I can work on a sliding pay scale depending on students ability to pay.
My initial 200 hour training was simply to deepen my own yoga practice. Then I met my teacher Anand ji in India during the International Yoga Festival, this is when I decided that I wanted to become a teacher. I wanted to be able to share these practices with the world.
I have worked with students of all ages from 8 years old to 75 years of age. I have in studio teaching experience and have worked with many individuals on a one on one basis.
I have recently returned from India. This was my 4th trip to the country and I love it more and more every time I return. On this trip I was able to visit the city of Dharamshala, the community of the exiled Tibetan people and was once again able to attend the International Yoga Festival in Rishikesh India. To close my trip I had a brief stay at Sattva Yoga Academy, my yoga home away from home, at the foothills of the Himalayas.
