About
My passion for Yoga is what brought me HERE, in the now and to this moment. I aim to provide my students with the tools needed for a healthy mind and body through yoga, meditation and Ayurveda. Although yoga is great for exercise, it’s main purpose is to help one achieve liberation through stillness of the mind and this is achieved as one physically practices yoga. A healthy mind makes for a healthy body and overall healthy lifestyle from healthy relationships, to a healthy diet, to healthy decision making. Refine your mental processes, clean out physical and mental toxins and blockages through the practice of authentic Yoga. I have been a consistent student of Yoga for 2 years and received my license to teach in a vigorous program located in Bali under a well advanced Guru. I’m a licensed nurse by day and my job as a nurse includes helping those in need to heal from addictions of many kinds. I also service the elderly community as a nurse and advocate providing them with the ability to live and manage their health comfortably in their home. I have provided healing services within the correctional facilities in both Texas and Arizona, my qualifications for that kind of position extended from my military service as I am an Air Force Veteran who served operation Iraqi Freedom in 2005. I offer group yoga and one on one yoga in which I tailor my class to individual spiritual and physical needs. Begin your journey as I travel mine. Website coming soon. In the meantime feel free to check out my personal IG page @mssupathrowed
What I enjoy most about practicing and sharing Yoga are the benefits seen throughout one's life, on the mat and off. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing the relief on my students faces after a great yoga and meditation session. It's as if you can see and feel the heaviness of whatever was carried lift off of them, and I am always so honored and grateful that I am able to assist with that.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
For one on one classes, I prefer to set up a free consultation which helps me get to the know the student, their expectations and needs and determine if my services are a good fit. This consultation is also to help the student determine if what I provide fits their needs as well. This consultation can be done in person or for convinience over the phone or even video messaging. For group classes I will typically announce the class and it's theme, or focus, and announce the level of the class I am providing so students know what ot expect.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a 200RYT certificate received in Bali, Indonesia under intense training and have self taught and studied prior to obtaining my yoga teaching license. What I teach, is what I practice in my daily/personal life.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Typically for a class $15-$20 depending on length of class of 5 or more. One on One classes start at $45 per hour. I typically run 90min classes in which one on one would be $60. I customize prices and schedules to fit the needs of others, so depending on how often you prefer to practice, the price will vary. I typically accept Cash for payment or any of the following: Paypal, Cashapp, CirclePay
How did you get started teaching?
When my personal Yoga practice became the answer to so many of my struggles, I realized "I need to share this with people. People need this".
What types of students have you worked with?
Mostly family and loved ones of all ages.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Ask them what is all included in their Yoga class, and make sure to ask them how much they focus on pranayama-breathing exercises as this is the key to success in yoga.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are your goals? What are you wanting to achieve with Yoga? What are your limitations? What do you want to strengthen? Any past or current injuries? Are you willing to commit?
