Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I give all of my new students a brief intro to Kundalini Yoga as it encompasses a lot of aspects in one class (breath work, movement, sound healing, and meditation). I keep in mind their level of experience with Yoga and have modifications for every breath, posture, and meditation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Naturopathic Phyisician and Kundalini Yoga instructor. I encompass the technology of this powerful Yoga while incorporating all the knowledge about the body mind and spirit I have learned throughout ND school and working with patients.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
For the 9 years I have been teaching, my classes have always been donation based. This allows anyone who desires to explore this style of Yoga without large financial commitments. I love making yoga accessible to many, as I remember it was difficult to find affordable classes when I was in school and did not have a job. I also offer online classes for those who are not in the area. My suggested donation is $15.
How did you get started teaching?
In my earlier years, I involved myself in a destructive crowd and suffered through addiction for many years. Through divine alignment, I was drawn to the one Kundalini class in my area at the time taught by Anne Novak, a Kundalini Yoga legend! Through discovering my own power, I knew I had a greater purpose other than instant gratification through harmful substances.
My passion and strong desire to uplift this world lead me to become an instructor. I then transitioned to teaching Kundalini Yoga. Here I am 9 years later, still loving this practice and grateful I have been able to share with others.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with students from 18- 75 years of age. This yoga is truly accessible to all levels and all ages.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love the Sat Nam Fests held annually!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone who can stretch you into your greatness while being there to support and show you the compassion and love you deserve!

How much passion do they put into their practice and classes?
