About
We are always a work in progress, and there is always room for growth. We are never going to get to a place in our training where we can finally say “I’m done. I’m as good as I wanted to get, so I don’t need to train anymore”. Success comes from consistency, and maintaining that success also requires consistency. Therefore, it’s imperative that we are intentional about enjoying the process. I try to not only challenge and push my players physically, but I also make sure I educate all of my players on how to be intentional with their mental game, so that they can be better equipped to push past those moments of physical distress. I train until my players are uncomfortable (physically and/mentally), because we can only experience growth when we push ourselves outside our usual comfort zones.
