I'm Joseph Scott Jr. and I established G. I. Joe Fitness in 2006 as an alternative to traditional personal training experiences. I realized the need for an alternative to the over crowded and often intimidating gyms that did more to push someone away from getting in shape than it helped.

I have my B.S. degree in Biological Science, I'm also ACE certified as a personal trainer, and have an Advanced Health & Fitness Specialist (ACE-AHFS), NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Certified Rock Tape FMT Basic, Medifast Health Coach, 1st degree Black Belt in American-style Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Purple Belt.
