Coach G's Football Academy

My name is Arun Gomez, but my athletes know me as Coach G. I am a former collegiate coach and have been coaching for 20 years as of 2024.

First and foremost, I coach the great game of football to help as many young people as I can. I coach with love and passion. I do not fit the stereotypical yelling or "mean" Coach. I am very laid back and relaxed. However, I do train my athletes at a high level, and the standard I expect my athletes to meet on and off the field is very high.

I will do an excellent job training my athletes for a few reasons. Number one, I genuinely care about each athlete I coach, and I always put them first. Moreover, I believe that we must teach our athletes the tiny details of the game and doing so can make them above average or elite. I make sure that each athlete I train is being taught skills that will be transferable to the higher levels of the sport. Ensuring that each athlete understands the intricacies of the game, as well as a thorough understanding of movement efficiency. Furthermore, I can break the game down from a schematic standpoint, both offensively and defensively.

I do not consider myself as a specialist for one particular position. I consider myself a football specialist and have been blessed to be mentored by players and Coaches that have played and coached at the highest level of the sport. I train every position except kickers and punters and I only train quarterbacks on schematics and pocket awareness.

Lastly, I have trained a number of professional and college players and will develop any athlete, regardless of age or level the same way I develop the pros.
