** I'M CURRENTLY ON MATERNITY LEAVE, PLEASE CHECK FOR MY AVAILABILITY IN SPRING 2021 **
I first discovered yoga in 2002 as a college student at UCSD where she earned a degree in Psychology. What began as "just another workout" slowly unfolded into a journey of personal growth that challenged some of my deepest held beliefs. Yoga became a way of life.
I began developing a deep knowledge of body and breath a young age. A lifelong athlete, I've been a competitive swimmer, ballroom dancer, and martial artist. Athletics became a way for me to withdraw from the senses and enter a space of moving meditation.
This experience has set a strong foundation for my teaching style in yoga. Whether you are a former athlete or just starting a fitness routine, my classes will both challenge you and help you achieve relaxation.

I love the way yoga makes me feel, and I love helping other people achieve that same feeling. In today's results-based, high stimulus world, I invite you to withdraw from our senses, tune in to your body, and listen to its messages without judgement. My wish for my students is to experience that transcendent space that exists when we simply let go and combine body, breath, and movement.
I am RYT200 certified through the Joy of Yoga school and am currently enrolled in the 500hr program with Jennifer Prugh. When I'm teaching yoga, I work in HR and Product Development for an artisanal food company based in Morgan Hill, California.
