Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I always start by making the space a welcoming one. In a yoga session, we will go over a basic interview and narrow down a sequence that is fitting for the day, as well as fit more long-term goals in based upon the constitution of the individual.
Then in a nutritional session, we go over in-depth health history, look at the goals set and then make a plan to reach those goals. There is a lot of shapeshifting involved in the process of letting go and making new, so this process takes time and is necessary to allowed at least a 30-day commitment. But the results can be phenomenal!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Acupuncture training, yoga therapeutics & nutritional health coaching.

How did you get started teaching?
My mom was my first teacher!
What types of students have you worked with?
Mostly members of my community that included athletes, those with chronic illness, elderly & those that just want to achieve personal wellbeing goals.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be choosey! Look for the one who resonates with you the most ;)
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
To really evaluate their true needs. In my opinion, it's good to hear the "why" on a soulful level and then move into the "how" with full force!
