About
* Please Note: I only work virtually through Zoom/GoogleMeet/or Facetime.
Yoga - Breathing is the focal point of what I teach. Although a good form of physical activity, yoga isn't a "workout". It is a way to access the nervous system through the body, so one can create an assemblance of balance. I use gentle, restorative postures to create flexibility in the body, mind, and nervous system. When working with me, you learn coherent breathing that meets you where you are at: tired, it helps to energize you. Wired, it helps you to relax. My focus is teaching you tools for defining and handling stress effectively.
Diet & Lifestyle - I help my clients develop healthy habits around eating. I am plant based, but that does not mean I will take away your steak. It simply means I will help you to add in more fruits, vegetables and real whole foods into your daily intake. I believe eating is a keystone habit, and that once one introduces eating well into their life, other good behaviors will follow: movement, exercize, social connection to name a few, as a result of feeling well, and good about oneself.
The principles of good health haven't changed, but our environment has. I love helping people develop processes to simplify their lives around food, health and lifestyle wellness. I also love helping people facilitate positive change in these areas that, more often, need love and attention... To help them create a growth mind set, a modicum of balance & simplicity, and become more well rounded humans overall, that are able to respond to modern life's demands with grace and integrity is an incredible priviledge!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I have an intitial conversation with my prospective clients first, to make sure we are a good fit for one another, and make sure that what I offer is what they are looking for. If so, we then go over a health history, goals, needs, limitations and injuries, and I answer any questions they might have.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My initial training was a 6 month RYT 200 certification in a holistic clininic that focused on the whole system of yoga - philosophy, mind science, meditation, Ayurveda - not just the physical postures, as well as other forms of body work - Feldenkrais, Alexander Technique, and Somatic yoga.
75 hours with PRYT based on Carl Rogers Person Centered Therapy.
Advanced training with Tias Little, Cameron Shayne, and Jamie Allison.
BA in Psychology. Double minor in Holistic Health & Wellness Education, and Nutrition.
AADP ceritied holistic health coach through IIN.
