Yoga With Monica
About
I was introduced to yoga about 17 years ago, not long after I became a mother for the first time. I enjoyed how the practice brought peace to my mind and strength to my body. My journey with yoga brought me to complete a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training program at Inner Peace Yoga Center in Indianapolis.
Becoming a Registered Yoga Teacher has allowed me to bring my passion for yoga and its physical and mental health benefits to people with a wide variety of needs and abilities. I believe yoga is for everyone; it is about getting in touch with yourself, mind and body, and it doesn’t have to be too serious. I am a mother to three children and a wife of 19 years. When not spending time with my family or practicing yoga, I enjoy running and participating in exercise classes, cooking, gardening, reading, and knitting.
