I offer a beginner-friendly private session. I meet you where you're at whether it's your first time or if you've visited your mat many times. I'm a school teacher by trade so I'm versed in how to break instructions down into manageable chunks that you can apply to your practice even when you are practicing on your own. My 200 hour Yoga Alliance certification emphasized proper allignment. I also teach breathing techniques to accompany the physical postures. You will leave each session relaxed and ready to tackle challenges off your mat. I found yoga five years ago and it changed me on both a mental and physical level. After battling a life-time of anxiety and depression issues from trauma, I finally found peace. Body aches decreased and the ups and downs of life became easier to cope with. I became the person in the room that wanted to tell anyone that would listen about the benefits of yoga. I love to see the difference in people as they gradually reap the benefits. I love to share this practice and give to others the knowledge my teachers gave to me.
