Wild Persimmon School Of Wellness
About
I am a 500 hour Sivananda certified yoga teacher, and I have been teaching traditional hatha yoga since my first training in 2009. My husband and i have a small yoga studio and herb school on the south side of Indianapolis. We teach by example the art and science of traditional hatha yoga, meditation, permaculture, and western botanical medicine. Our 1.3 acre homestead is dedicated to inspiring individual and collective well being by restoring our connection to the simplest things in life - our breath, our feet firmly planted, the smell of fresh rose petal. The more subtle, the more powerful.

How did you get started teaching?
Yoga helped lift me out of a deep depression in my mid twenties and I wanted learn everything I could about it. There are many different ways to practice yoga and I was most familiar with the very physical, quick flowing vinyasa. Upon arriving at the ashram, I was surprised with the emphasis on philosophy, mediation, breathing, and relaxation. During my training they told us to teach as much as we can and share the practice with as many as possible. So here I am.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with adults and children of many different levels of experience and mobility
