How did you get started teaching?
My dad died of a heart attack. At 49 My brother died of a heart attack. Another brother had a heart attack, 3 years ago. My life's work has been centered around preventative health and wellness. This is personal for me, as it should be for you. Heart attack is the leading cause of death for both men and women in the state of Kentucky. If you have high blood pressure or high cholesterol then you are at higher risk for having a heart attack. I wont start mentioning the foods you eat, exercise habits, abuse of alcohol, smoking, stress levels and more. FACT: More than 350,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occur in the United States per year, out of which 70% happen inside homes. FACT: 90 percent of people who suffer cardiac arrest die prior to reaching a hospital or medical care facility. FACT: Effective CPR provided by a bystander in the first few minutes of cardiac arrest can increase the chances of survival by 2x or 3x. Get prepared - prevent heart disease - improve your health today - make LIFE a priority. Love your heart as much as I do. Holly
