Since 1994 I have beend doing partner assisted yoga (one on one) along with resistance to get the most effective and safest stretch.
I work with either people who are just looking to improve their overall muscular and alignment health, and also specialize in working with people who suffer from chronic muscular, fascial or skeletal pain such as sciatica, arthritis, tmj, etc. I have a high level of success in helping alleviate the pain an discomfort of many of these issues.
I work out of my Watertown home studio or travel to people's locations.
I was certified by Bob Cooley, the leader in assisted stretching using resistance.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We start by evaluating the needs of the person. If a person comes for helping a specific problem and not for an overall full body stretch, we probably would do my 1/2 hour targeted session just doing stretches that address the person's specific issue. If the person is coming for an overall stretch, we would do an hour session and the first one would be basically a series of assisted poses where I start to evaluate what would work best for them.
