About
My qualifications are both personal training and nutrition as well as yoga instruction. I have a passion for health and fitness and enjoy teaching because I get to share that passion and help people improve their daily quality of life. Exercise benefits not only the physical body but also the mind. Whole body wellness and happiness are my main priorities for you in both my personal training services and yoga instruction.
My vision is to share yoga with everyone I meet to begin to create a universal connection sprouting harmony, peace, healing, and understanding.
In my experience, fitness training and weightlifting have personally boosted my confidence, improved my immune system, strengthened my muscles and joints, and improved my mood!
Yoga is my true passion, however, because it brought me a new sense of community, emotional understanding, stress relief, mental health and awareness, physical strength, flexibility, and overall healing during a difficult time in my life. Why not benefit from the practice of yoga and the commitment to regular exercise?
I am a certified yoga instructor through Yoga Alliance and completed my teacher training in Austin, TX, with the Austin Yoga Tree studio over the summer of 2017.
I am certified by the International Sports Science Association as a fitness instructor and sports nutritionist since August 2014.
My experience includes both working in a gym and as a private instructor.

How did you get started teaching?
My passion for fitness began in highschool when I ran cross country and track and took a weight training class. I enjoy teaching and enriching lives by helping people become healthier and prevent onset of disease and injury. I began working as a trainer in a gym in 2014, and since have taken several private clients and taught group classes. Yoga instruction is a little newer to me since I just earned my certification over the last summer but I have experienced great small successes with the people I have taught.
