About
Private yoga coaching – online and in person – is my jam. I specialize in managing back pain and stress, however, I am here to serve your needs, so we will work together to create a long term private yoga program that meets you where you are now, and puts you on the path to achieving your wellness goals.
Having a diverse background, I can accommodate nearly any requirement or interest. That could mean a 90 minute session of yoga nidra (a deep state of meditation translated as “yogic sleep”), unraveling your spine utilizing restorative poses, a fast paced vinyasa work out, or a combination of all three. And if all that sounded like elvish to you, don’t worry, you’re still in the right place – Simply reach out to me now and you will thank yourself later.
Private, one-on-one yoga diverges from group classes in a number of ways, most notably our ability to communicate with each other and to respond to feedback in real time. Also, attending group classes on a long-term basis can be challenging to do and doesn’t provide a structure for advancement, whereas developing a private yoga practice with me ensures accountability over time and a framework to make consistent progress towards your goals. Other benefits include:
Receive personalized instruction that is tailored specifically to you, enabling you to progress more effectively and efficiently toward your wellness goals
Know that you are seen, heard, and understood; I hold no expectations or judgements toward you and your practice
Have the full attention of a caring professional who can ensure your practice is done safely and mindfully
Enjoy developing a practice at a time and location that is most convenient for you, whether that’s in your home or online
Deepen your experience through my unique incorporation of energy work, yoga nidra, soothing adjustments, and breathing excercises

How did you get started teaching?
A Wisconsin native and global traveler, Yoga found me many years ago via an online 30 day fitness challenge and has been a daily habit since. As the practice continually deepens, so has my desire to learn more about all aspects of yoga and to share this as a private yoga instructor. I have completed a 200 hour Ayurvedic based yoga teacher training, ShivaShakti and Hilary Jackendoff's Yoga Nidra trainings, Yoga Body’s Yoga Trapeze certification, a 30 yin yoga training, Reiki level 2, and countless hours of self-motivated studies. I also loves fluffy kitties, spicy chai, wandering in nature, and great tamales. Get in touch to begin your own journey!
What types of students have you worked with?
People struggling with:
- starting their yoga journey (beginners are my favorite!)
- stress and anxiety
- back pain
- a lack of flexibility
- the belief that yoga isn't for them!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently hosted an 8 part Meditation 101 series for a small group of women in my hometown and it was so rewarding! They had never meditated before and found such great results with our weekly private group meet-up. I hope to continue sharing this offering!
