Louise creates a class that makes yoga possible for everyone. She is very cognizant of her class’s needs and abilities.
Louise is very cognizant of participants' needs. - asking about problem areas before class and looking for feedback at the end. She also provides tips for any issues that may not have been addressed during class.
Of most importance to me is Louise’s class emphasis on breath. Louise is always so open and available to students, inviting any questions and requests for what students want to work on. She emphasizes that we listen to our bodies, and trust our internal guidance as well as following her lead and instructions. She is very skilled at mirroring which I really appreciate because I easily get caught up in left/right. She is also very knowledgeable about weaving in teaching on emotions along with yoga. And the blend with tai chi is excellent, a very sweet bonus!
Excellent. I was in her breathing class. She has very deep knowledge and understanding on what she teaches. She also get to know her students very well. She customizes for students. I can't say enough. The class became my staple for the week to survive. Very beneficial.
When I begin working with new students, I ask them if there are any issues they would like to address in class. As time goes by, the students become more comfortable discussing some of their problems.
Before all of my classes, I always ask if there is any particular body part they would like to be the main focus.

I began teaching after I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training. I was asked by the studio owner where I took the training if I would teach a Restorative class. I have been teaching ever since and have continued with my education.
After many years of practice, I became interested in teaching and had two of my teachers suggest I take the training.
