I am a Yoga Alliance certified teacher with certifications in hatha/vinyasa yoga and kundalini yoga. I teach movement practices that are customized to the individual client. I also incorporate meditation and mindfulness techniques in addition to sound healing with crystal and tibetan singing bowls into client sessions. I teach people to make yoga and mindfulness part of their everyday lives to help reduce stress and improve their health.

I have never done yoga before and was actually scared to try because I didn't feel like I had great balance since I hurt my ankle. I am so glad that I gave it a try with Tracy. She encouraged me to keep my shoulders relaxed while doing the warrior stance and to be conscious on keeping them relaxed throughout the day. I never realized how tense I was. Tracy demonstrated stretches and poses that worked for me. I could actually feel an openness in my back. I have never been to any class where the teacher asked me questions and guided me to do moves that I could do. I was so relaxed afterwards. My back and body felt looser and I felt relaxed for the first time in a long time. I really enjoyed doing yoga and can't wait for my next session with Tracy.
I offer a free phone consultation so that we can both see if we are a good match to work together. In addition, I will email a student intake form prior to the first session so that I receive feedback that will enable me to customize the session to fit the student's needs.
I received 200-hour kundalini training from Kundalini Yoga East in NYC. In addition, I received another 200-hour hatha/vinyasa training from Urban Bliss Yoga in Charlotte, NC. I am a registered Yoga Alliance teacher. I am pursuing sound healing training that will allow me to work with bowls directly on the client's body to promote wellness.
I have had a variety of yoga students: younger students and older students, beginners and intermediate students, students interested in yoga for physical exercise and those who want more of a spiritual connection to their practice, and people who are drawn to the different modalities that I teach (kundalini, vinyasa/hatha, meditation/mindfulness, and sound healing). However people come to me, I meet them where they are and try to understand their journey and where they want to go with their practice. We work together to develop a practice that is both comfortable and leads to growth.
Be open to seeing if there is a connection between yourself and your instructor. I offer a free consultation so that we can see if working together would be mutually beneficial. Ask questions and talk to a prospective instructor about your journey and your goals.
