About
I have been practicing yoga for over 20 years and received my 200 RYT certification in 2015. I am also a reiki practitioner and sound healer.
I tailor my private classes to the needs of the individual student and am very passionate about creating healthy habits and practices early on in life so you can enjoy your senior years & live life to the fullest! I am also certified to teach patients with movement disorders such as Parkinson's & MS. I teach vinyasa yoga as well as restorative & chair yoga classes.
I love having a yoga community of people who all enjoy the practice as much as I do and support each other in all our endeavors.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I take the first class slow and get to know their experience level as well as any past or current injuries.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Many years of being a yoga student myself as well as 5 years teaching experience plus a 200 hour registered yoga teacher certificate & multiple intensive workshops & additional trainings.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Please contact me for pricing info.
How did you get started teaching?
I decided to take teacher training after years of taking yoga classes myself and after years of being a stay at home mom once my kids were all in school full time.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages and both beginner & advanced students. I especially love teaching seniors & think they're adorable!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently did a small intimate outdoor yoga class (due to Covid) at nighttime with lanterns and lots of candles. The weather was perfect & it was a full moon making for a magical experience.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
If you take a yoga class once and do not like it, take another class. Keep trying different ones until you find the right style and the right teacher. Not everyone likes hot yoga, not everyone likes restorative but there IS a style out there for everyone so I encourage you to keep looking until you find the one that suits you best because the benefits will be amazing.
