About
I enjoy when my students come to me with tears and say -" Oh my god i could sit on the floor with my legs crossed without being in pain"!!
OR when my students say " wow i love your class, i feel so in touch with myself, I hv attended many yoga classes, but Ive never felt such peace and relaxation anywhere ever."!!
And many more....
In the end I love that my students feel relaxed and connected with their body while being aware of its capability and still going bk home v happy. I just want to teach real yoga to my students and help them positively!!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The very first thing I typically do with a new student, especially if they are new to yoga is make them feel at ease. Because the biggest MISCONCEPTION in peoples mind about YOGA is that ONE HAS TO BE FLEXIBLE. No one needs to be flexible. But they have made YOGA more commercial now. If you want to be on yoga magazing covee page then yes. Otherwise yoga is integration of MIND BODY AND SOUL. ITS A WAY OF LIFE. YOGA SHLD NEVER FEEL STRESSFUL. IT SHOULD RELAX AN INDIVIDUAL WHILE FEELING WORKED OUT AND REJUVINATED AT THE SAME TIME. IT IS A GENTLE EFFORT AND STEADY PROGRESS FOR OUR BODY. So i can promise that when one tries YOGA with ME they will knw what YOGA really is.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hv been practicing yoga since i was 11. And i took a semester of Yoga at FIT While i was studying to be an interior architect/designer. I am also certified yoga instructor from an INTEGRAL YOGA INSTITUTE, YOGAVILL, VA. for Hatha Yoga.
How did you get started teaching?
I start by giving a brief 2 mins info and intro to INTEGRAL HATAH YOGA AND WHAT YOGA ACTUALLY IS AND WLD DO TO OUR BODY. This puts my student at an ease, connected with their own self and present in that moment. Then i start the warming up followed by the all the other yoga asans. Which is ended with guided relaxation, breathing techniques and a v short meditation. Its a 1.15 mins class.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all type of students. Currently i have a studen who has parkinsons, a student with a leg with compression issues, a student with foot issue, a student with knee issues, a student with NO issues, student with back issues. So i have all ages students and all different types of bodies.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Go for real yoga. Try to stay away from the commercial aspect of it. Ppl say so many things to commercialise it. But try to find a proper yoga teacher and follow REAL YOGA.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Always listen to your body and no question is a stupid question. So ask anything.
