I am an adult music student who finally acted on my decades long dream of learning to play an instrument. Svetla has been encouraging, patient, firmly believing in my ability even when I doubted myself. She has been patient in explaining musical concepts until I fully grasped them and answering all of my questions. Listening to me perform, her feedback has been insightful and I am now aware of nuances that were previously hidden for me.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Establishing what the student's goals are and discussing how to achieve them.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a DMA in Violin Performance and work with all ages and levels from beginners to college level students.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I charge $70 per one hour, $55 per 45 min. If i need to travel to student's home i may charge more depending on the distance. I prefer online lessons.

I charge monthly by the 1st of each month. You are entitled to one make up lesson per month but you must notify me 24 hours in advance.

What types of students have you worked with?

I work with students as young as 5 years old all the way to adults. I have college level experience and have successfully prepared students for Nyssma all levels, Mark Twain school, and la Guardia school.
