I travel to my students home or can teach in my studio in astoria Queens . I am interactive with my students . I love to help students express themselves and find the enjoyment that I get from playing. It's supposed to be about having fun and my lessons are designed to make practice and playing satisfying and productive. I guarantee every student will be playing 10 songs in 6-8 weeks !

I have been taking lessons with Mark since last September and he is a great teacher. He creates a nurturing environment to learn at your own pace. He really customizes the lesson based on your strengths and weaknesses. He focuses on the joy of playing music over technical mastery. This has helped me enjoy the learning process because I am not overwhelmed with hitting the right note or making mistakes. Mark has been a perfect choice for me to learn guitar. Im basically a beginner but knew a few chords. From the very start, he had me playing my own choice of rock songs from my favorite artists. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I customize to what the student wants to learn . I also use innovative learning tools such as loopers and video. My methodology is all about experiential and not as much cognitive learning. The practice exercises all are designed with that in mind.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been playing teaching and performing for over 30 years.
