I am an active professional dancer and choreographer deeply involved in NYC dance scene. I have taught a wide range of ages and abilities through my years of teaching. I am calm, friendly and challenge my students in an enjoyable fashion.
I love using dance and fitness as a means to envliven peoples lives and to infuse healing, and enjoyment in exercise.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been dancing since I was five years old. I received my BFA in Dance at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, and received the JS Seidman Award for Excellence in Dance.
Since graduation, I have dance professionally for a range of companies in the US and Canada. I have taught at University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Simon Fraser Unviersity, Derida Dance Center (Bulgaria), Carmina Slovenica (Slovenia), LeHigh University, Arts Umbrella (Canada), Tanz Farm (Atlanta)
I also teach private Fitness classes (privates or small groups), I have experience teaching Bootcamp, Conditioning, Stretch and Relaxation.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
For private lessons in your home, I charge: $75 - $90 an hour
For lessons, where we go to a studio and I book the space: I charge: $90 (to cover studio rental)
For group lessons: $100
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching while I was working at Sidra Bell Dance New York. Through the company I would teach plenty of outreach classes in NYC and abroad. From there, I continued teaching dance but also began teaching fitness classes through 'Bring the Gym to Me' and "NFC Amenity Management".
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a range of students, from beginners to teenagers, to professionals.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Think about what kind of movement you are interested in and also think about what you would most like to get out of the class, do you want it to be more challenging? super fun? really intense?
