    Frequently asked questions

    1. Understanding the client's goals: I begin by learning what the client hopes to achieve through our collaboration, ensuring we're aligned on their objectives. 2. Developing a tailored course: Using the client's goals as a foundation, I create a customized plan that considers their unique needs and fits seamlessly into their lifestyle. 3. Establishing benchmarks and tracking progress: To ensure we stay on track and make necessary adjustments along the way, I set measurable milestones and regularly review the client's progress. By following this process, I strive to provide a personalized and adaptive approach to helping clients achieve their fitness goals.
I have been a Fitness Coach since 2005, and over the years, I have obtained several national accredited certifications in personal training, group instruction, sports conditioning, nutrition, injury prevention, and weight loss. These certifications, along with my extensive experience working with over 350 clients, have given me a comprehensive understanding of the various aspects of fitness and wellness, enabling me to provide effective and personalized guidance to my clients.
My pricing system consists of three tiers, each designed to cater to different client needs: - Tier 1: This tier includes customized tailored workouts with physical simulations on how to perform the exercises, as well as personalized menus. - Tier 2: This tier offers customized tailored workouts with physical simulations on how to perform the exercises, but does not include personalized menus. - Tier 3: This tier is focused solely on providing customized menus. All tiers are based on 3-month cycles to ensure clients' success and progress. By offering these different options, I aim to provide flexibility and affordability while still delivering high-quality, personalized services.
After a 25-year career as an accountant, I realized that I was not finding the satisfaction I was looking for in my work. I felt that I could do more to help others and make a positive difference in their lives. Having always been active and involved in various sports and activities such as cheerleading, track, horseback riding, tennis, and strength training, I decided to pursue a career in fitness coaching. By becoming a fitness coach, I am able to combine my passion for fitness with my desire to help others achieve balance, happiness, and positive change in their lives. In this role, I can be a friend, mentor, and guide, providing personalized support and direction to help my clients reach their fitness goals.
I have primarily worked with individuals aged 40 and older who are looking to lose weight, increase their energy levels, and improve their strength. I understand that as we age, our bodies change and may require different approaches to exercise than when we were younger. With this in mind, I specialize in creating customized fitness programs that take into account these unique needs and adapt exercises to help my clients reach their goals. By recognizing and addressing the specific challenges faced by this age group, I am able to provide effective and tailored guidance that sets my clients up for success in their fitness journeys.
Recently, I had the privilege of helping a client who came to me feeling desperate and considering risky weight loss injections. She confided in me that she wanted to lose over 60 pounds and feel better about herself, as the excess weight was causing joint pain and negative attention from others. I assured her that with six months of total compliance, I could create a personalized program to address her specific challenges and help her lose 30-35 pounds. In June, after six months of dedicated effort, we had our check-in via Zoom. When my client stepped on the scale, she had lost an incredible 38 pounds! It was an emotional moment for both of us, and we celebrated her hard work and incredible progress. Moments like these remind me why I love being a fitness coach and the power of personalized support and guidance.
When searching for a fitness coach, my advice is to find someone whose personality and teaching style resonate with you, just like the friends you cherish in your life. Trust is a crucial factor in your journey towards better health and fitness, so it's important to find a coach who understands your struggles, frustrations, and how hard you've tried. The right coach will not only guide you through your fitness journey but also become a friend who genuinely cares about your progress and well-being. This connection can make all the difference in staying motivated, committed, and ultimately achieving your desired results. Remember, your fitness journey is not just about finding a coach, but building a lasting partnership based on trust, empathy, and mutual understanding.
When seeking a fitness coach, it's essential to ask yourself the following questions: 1. Relevant experience: Have they worked with clients who have similar goals, needs, or challenges to yours? How did they tailor their programs and support to address these issues? 2. Handling setbacks: How does the coach help clients who have tried and failed multiple times in the past? What makes their approach different and more likely to succeed this time? 3. Client relationships: Is the coach's style strictly professional, or do they take a more nurturing, supportive, and versatile approach (such as acting as a cheerleader, friend, or using tough love when necessary)? By reflecting on these questions, you'll be better equipped to find a fitness coach who not only has the expertise and experience to help you achieve your goals but also aligns with your needs and preferences for a strong, productive relationship.
