Passionate about empowering young athletes through personalized 1-on-1 football coaching/training, speed and agility training for athletics, and building confidence, skills, and love for football or any sport!
I've coached at numerous youth clinics in my hometown, working with athletes ages 6 to 12, and participated in elite summer camps at Division 1 schools across the country. My experience as a Division 1 football player at a Big Ten school has equipped me with the knowledge and expertise to design impactful drills that directly translate to in-game performance. I focus on helping young athletes improve their skills, confidence, and overall game IQ, ensuring they are well-prepared for real-game situations.
I was a dedicated 4-year starting linebacker and team captain at Fishers High School, one of the largest high school's in Indiana. Throughout my high school career, I was a top performer and leader and was fortunate to win a state championship during my sophomore year. After graduation, I was fortunate to receive multiple offers from D2 and D1-FCS programs, but I chose to pursue a preferred walk-on position at Indiana University, a decision fueled by my passion for football and desire to compete at the highest level.
During my time playing at Indiana, I redshirted my freshman year, allowing me to develop my skills and gain valuable experience amongst college's elite players and future NFL players. I participated in team camp during summer and dressed for all home games. However, after my sophomore year concluded and multiple injuries that impacted my ability to perform I made the difficult decision to leave the team and refocus my efforts on academics and life after football.
In the first session, we will focus on discussing the client's goals and preferred style of play, or identify a college/NFL player they wish to emulate (build excitement for the athlete), if they don't already have one in mind. We will assess their strengths and weaknesses to create a tailored training plan that fits their schedule and specific areas for improvement.
For speed and agility trainings, we'll work on proper form and movements to increase speed and agility. I incorporate ladder drills, cone drills, stamina and endurance drills, hand-eyed coordination drills, etc. to help any athlete become faster and more successful on the field, court, or whichever arena.
Moving forward, all sessions will be customized to meet the client's needs. Football training's will generally include perfecting a stance that maximizes quickness and athletic ability. We will incorporate hand-eye coordination drills and tackling, catching, throwing, blocking, etc., exercises using various methods with an emphasis on developing a habitual and safe movements and the ability to perform at the athlete's highest level. Additionally, Football sessions will also include working on proper angles and potential in-game scenarios, and increasing the athlete's general knowledge of the game.
Group sessions at a lower rate are also available and can be coordinated with other clients of similar age group or position.
