We love to workout with all of our members and clients. We take pride in our work and ensure that we have our clients leave each and every session more knowledgeable in their skills.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, we find exactly where your basic level resides. Example: there are those who have previous experience in boxing or other disiciplines however, its been a while since you've last practiced these tecniques. Placing you in an advanced class may not be the best option returning back so we would place you somewhere else more suitable until your skills rebuild.
Meeting each individual where they are maybe one of our biggest goals. With boxing you are gaining a new skill set which requires muscle memory and patience with yourself as well as the process. As the coach, breaking things down to simplest form has proven through experience to be the best option learning the art of boxing. Once this solid foundation is established, we can grow and move on from here.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Currently I am a certified boxing coach and specialize with focus pads. A focus mitt is a padded target that looks like a catchers mitt and I as the coach will wear while the student wears the gloves. The person holding the focus mitts will typically call out combinations and "feed" the puncher good counter-force while maneuvering and working specific skills. Focus mitts are often used as an augment to sparring, with more explicit focus on the puncher than the feeder, especially to develop good punch combinations and defensive maneuvers such as "slipping," "bobbing" and "weaving."
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The price would depend on the chosen package regarding the amount of times per week we train and length of your agreement in terms of time length in the contract.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Honestly, choose carefully! Not all coaches have your best interest in mind no different than choosing a car insurance company. You would need to see for yourself the personality of the coach and his/her ablility to breakdown and explain each skill you are learning. See if the coach offers some type of free trial this way you will be able to see for yourself if he/she is the right fit. Be patient with the process!
