What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Hatha Yoga is about Breath, Balancing and Strength.

You achieve these through Meditation and Asanas, Poses.

Yoga is considered a"Moving Meditation".

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Taught Aerobics for about 12 years with a strong Yoga influence.  Converted to Just Yoga for the last 5 years.

I Instruct at 2 locations and Sudtitiute at a 3rd location.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

No matter what location the classes are $5 per person per class.

Private Lessons depend on the Location and Class length.

How did you get started teaching?

Started Yoga, with DVD's.  Loved it so put Yoga moves in to my Aerobics Classes.  Eventually I started attending someone elses Yoga class as a Student.  That graduated to me Subbing for the Class.  Then I just made the transition to Teach Just Yoga!

What types of students have you worked with?

Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

My Saturday class, was 46 Students last week!  I had a line of Students around the side of the Building.  It was so Modivating!

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Pick someone who is patient, offers alternative moves and works with your level.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Style of Yoga they teach?  Do they enjoy Teaching 1 on 1, or would they rather you have a couple Friends over to enrich the class?  Capable to work with limitations of your Body?
