About
Kylan began practicing yoga over ten years ago, and what started as a purely physical alternative form of exercise, slowly transformed into a mental, emotional and physical practice that she integrated into her daily life. To deepen her understanding and propel her skills, she took on teacher training during a difficult transitionary period in her life. She believes yoga saved her from anxiety, depression and gave her a sense of purpose during her intense and stressful life events. Her passion for teaching comes from a desire to share with others the experience of this ancient tradition that has brought her much peace, awareness, compassion and patience. She particularly enjoys attending to students who may find yoga challenging, physically or mentally, seeing others move past certain obstacles along the journey of yoga gives her a sense of accomplishment and gratitude.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first consult with a client, getting a detailed update on their physical body, emotional condition and stress levels. We discuss goals and set intentions for our sessions. From there I create a personalized program to help clients achieve their goals with recognizable benchmarks along the way. I use yoga, meditation, reiki, strength training and give home exercises for each student that are tailored to their body, mind and soul.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified with 200hr training, and mentored under a Kali devotee. I continued education through levels 1 and 2 of reiki healing as well as became certified in trauma sensitive yoga for self regulation. I am trained also as an Insight meditation facilitator.

$85/hr with travel up to 10 miles, $75/hr at my home studio. First session is $25 off with a review after your session on this site.
