Annie talked with me and my spouse about what we wanted from a yoga class and perfectly formulated it to that. We have met with her every week for over a year and she changes our class as our practice progresses. It’s our favorite part of the week!

It helped me relax after a long day of sitting at a desk and Annie creates an amazing atmosphere to practice yoga.

Annie is an amazing instructor! I am fairly new to yoga and she made me (and everyone else in the class) feel SO comfortable. I sit all day for my job and she suggested several stretches that would be helpful for my back and shoulders. She is so knowledgeable! Also Ive been to quite a few different yoga instructors before and often feel like I dont belong - theyre either super strict or a little too hippy dippy for me. Annie is the perfect combination and you will love her whether it is your first yoga class or you already practice every day! Not to mention she plays the BEST music!

Annie came up with a class that helped me rehabilitate my hip and back after a hip replacement gone bad. I am more flexible in my hips than I was before the surgery and am feeling great!

    Frequently asked questions

The student is the most important part of what I do, as yoga is all about the individual. To start I will get to know what you hope to achieve by incorporating yoga into your daily routine. We will also discuss any injuries or daily aches in your body that you wish to adress.

Along with studying exercise physiology for my undergraduate degree, I studied yoga specifically during a study abroad trip to India. That was ten years ago, and was my first in depth study into yoga. I have consistently practiced yoga since then. Two years ago I began teaching full time when I took a 200 hour registered yoga teacher training with an internationally acclaimed yoga studio. I recently completed a 300 hour advanced yoga teacher training in India. I am now a 500 hour registered yoga teacher with the yoga alliance. I have done a variety of additional specialized trainings and have a lot of experience with medicinal plant therepies and essential oils, which can be incorporated into a lesson at the request of the student.

Pricing tyically starts at 125 dollars for an hour session, 150  for 75 minutes and 200 for 90 minutes. This is including time before and after the practice to get set up and then adress any concerns or comments after. This session can include up to 6 people which is a great option for family or friends and helps to bring down costs. I also provide yoga props to help maximize the benfits from your practice.

I started teaching for a internationally acclaimed yoga studio after recieving a scholarship from the director of yoga to complete their 200 hour training. I had been a very consistent practioner for years and had considered teaching but didn't know if I could find the time. I couldn't turn down the opportunity to expand my practice on a scholarship so I took the training and was thrilled to be one of two people in the training to be offered teaching positions with the studio. I haven't looked back! Teaching and sharing yoga with as many people as I can has become my passion in life.

I have worked with every age range and level imaginable! I am adept at adjusting the practice to work for you no matter where you are at in your physical or emotional body.

Different students resonate better or worse with different instructors. Don't let a bad experience lead you away from this beautiful, life changing practice! If you have an instructor you don't love, try a new one! Once you find the right fit (and the right fit does exist!) you experience the magic for yourself and never look back.

What are you hoping to gain from a yoga practice? Do you have specific physical or emotional concerns or focuses you want your practice to address? Are you looking for a modern or more traditional approach to yoga, or something that blends both together? These are a few good things to keep address with your instuctor before you get going.
