Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I assess how the client is feeling that day, whether they are sore or feeling 100% and ready to go. I would ask them how they are feeling. We would start with a dynamic warmup to get their hips, lower legs, and body feeling ready to workout. Then, depending on what the athletes needs are whether it is to increase their speed, be more explosive, getting a stronger core, or get more endurance we will work on whatever the athlete wants to develop. The workout portion might be focusing on technique or actually trying to get a workout in. Then after the workout portion of the plan is finished we will focus on stretching and the cool down to make sure the client can go home feeling great about the session and ready to go for the next one.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I work on CoachUp which is a very good private coaching website, check out my reviews to see how I do,

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge my athletes 75 an hour for a private lesson, if they want to negotiate the price I am all ears.
How did you get started teaching?
I have done many sports growing up and I have always been good at being social and working with people. I want to give back by coaching and help other people achieve their dreams as I have.
What types of students have you worked with?
All age groups, I have worked with kids who are starting from the beginning. Then I have worked with very talented athletes.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
California has a Winter State Meet that I love taking my athletes too. It is where the top athletes in the state go and compete against each other in certain Track events. Always have a blast and always have someone who medals.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure the coach you hire has a strong focus on technique. If you can't understand the fundamentals first you will hit a wall. You will not grow and achieve things in the long run.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Where you are located, what your budget looks like, if you are serious about training, What are your goals, passions, dreams?
